AL BATEEN EXECUTIVE AIRPORT

Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) has taken over operation and management of Al Bateen Airport from the previous operator, General Directorate for the Armed Forces of United Arab Emirates.  ADAC is converting the military base into a corporate jet airport, developing an end-to-end corporate jet facility including VIP and VVIP passenger terminals, airport services, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), fuel, handling and other fixed-base operational services.

The facilities that are already in place allow ADAC to accommodate corporate jet operations immediately. In parallel, upgrades to the existing airfield infrastructure will be implemented.  These include runway surfacing, lighting and electrical power and operational equipment. A corporate jet MRO center at the airport is also planned for future. Passengers will have access to three terminals and up to 30 aircraft can be accommodated at any given time.
