Abu Dhabi is the capital of the United Arab Emirates and is the largest of the seven emirates. According to CNN it is the richest city in the world.

Abu Dhabi has rapidly grown from an obscure central trading community into a busting cosmopolitan and major investment center. The city lies on a T-shaped island jutting into the Persian Gulf from the central western coast. City of Abu Dhabi's population is estimated at 1.5 million (as of end 2006), with about 80% expatriate population. The Emirate of Abu Dhabi's population is estimated to be over 1.75 million.

At the head of city of Abu Dhabi and across from the Corniche is Lulu Island, a semi-natural landmass that is arguably the most strategic and valuable piece of property in the Emirate. The second largest city of Al Ain lies near the border with Oman and is home to the peaks of Hajar Mountains and Abu Dhabi's famous, Jebel Hafit.

This emirate is known around the world for its massive oil reserves and majestic mosques.
Abu Dhabi's climate varies from cold to moderate over winter, to hot during summer. Sunny skies can be expected all year long with few cloudy days during winter months.

Overall, Abu Dhabi has a lot to offer, from beaches, greenery, sand dunes and wildlife to the best of luxuries a modern city can offer.
